Admission based on previous qualifications

Admission based on previous qualifications (also known as “Parallel Admission”) is one of the modes via which applicants can join a business school in the second, third or fourth year.

 

Admission requirements

  • Bachelor program applications based on previous qualifications are made in the second and third years   
  • Grande Ecole-Master in Management applications based on previous qualifications are made in the second, third and fourth years (admission not possible in the fifth year). 

 

Application analysis 

Applicants must provide the following: 

  • Completed application file 
  • ID photo 
  • Photocopy of official ID (both sides) 
  • Photocopies of diplomas and reports obtained from baccalaureate level onwards (certified and translated into French for documents not in French) 
  • A tuition certificate for the year in progress if available 
  • CV 
  • Covering letter 
  • A minimum B2 level result obtained for an official French language test (DELF, DALF, TCF) for applicants for whom French is not their mother tongue 
  • Letter of recommendation from a professor, head of institution or employer (optional) 
  • 100 euros administrative fee (reduced to 50 euros for scholarship students, subject to producing the definitive scholarship certificate for the academic year in progress  
  • Results obtained for an English language test (IELTS, TOEFL, TOEIC) taken in the past two years for those who have already sat such tests. Minimum level required for applicants to a program in English:  
  • Bachelor: IELTS 5.5 - TOEFL 70 
  • Grande Ecole-Master in Management: 
  • 1st, 2nd and 3rd years: IELTS 5.5/TOEFL 70 
  • 4th year: IELTS 6 / TOEFL 80 

 

Individual interview 

The aim of this interview is to assess the degree of motivation and open-mindedness of the applicant as well as how appropriate their personality/knowledge is for the teaching delivered. 

A large number of admissions sessions take place each year between January and August to enable applicants to join Paris School of Business via the parallel admissions process.
