Everything you need to know about the “Concours SESAME”
The “Concours SESAME” is a post-secondary school competitive entrance exam enabling candidates to apply to 16 business and management schools.
Accessible via the Parcoursup platform, the entrance exam is open to all pupils with a baccalaureate or foreign equivalent, enabling them to join the Paris School of Business Grande Ecole-Master of Management program, the diploma for which is a five-year, post-secondary degree recognized by the Ministry for Higher Education, Research and Innovation.
Concours SESAME application
The payment of concours SESAME application fees is carried out via the Parcoursup platform.
The fee is 295 euros. The fee is the standard amount regardless of the number of programs or schools selected.
A 50% fee reduction is applicable for all pupils receiving grants. The application fee is reimbursed in the event of successful application to one of the schools affiliated to the entrance exam.

The SESAME entrance exams
Written exams
The SESAME written entrance exams will this year be held remotely. To take them, a computer, webcam and microphone will be necessary. Candidates will also need to have an internet connection.
Candidates without the appropriate equipment will sit the written exams in a SESAME exam center.
The written exams break down into 4 separate, multiple-choice tests.
Languages
2 languages: English (mandatory) and a choice of one other language. You are assessed on the grammar, conjugation, vocabulary, comprehension and culture of the language in question.
Length: 2 x 30 minutes
Reasoning and skills
45 questions: you are assessed on your overall logic, digital skills and verbal capacities.
Length: 1 hour
Documment analysis
20 questions: you are assessed on identification, analytical and summary questions.
Length: 2 hours
Contemporary issues
40 questions: you are assessed on culture, sports, the economy, culture etc.
Length: 30 minutes
Oral exams
To be able to join Paris School of Business, 2 oral exams must be taken by candidates: a one-on-one interview enabling the student to express their motivation and a modern language exam.
