This specialization enables students to acquire and develop skills in the areas of auditing and accounting, as well as management control.

Graduates of the Auditing & Management Control program may go on to pursue a career in audit and consulting firms or management control departments.

Aim of the specialization

Over the course of the program, the Bachelor in Auditing & Management Control is designed to provide students with a range of skills, both professional and personal in nature.

Those developed within students include the ability to analyze financial statements, assess financial risks, plan and budget operations, draw up financial reports, and conduct audits.

Program description

  • The year of study for the Bachelor in Auditing & Management Control is designed to provide students with in-depth knowledge in the areas of accounting, finance, auditing, and management control, as well as skills in communications, giving presentations, analyzing data, and solving problems.
     
  • All through the year, students also have the opportunity to take part in specific projects enabling them to apply in real-life situations the skills developed in class. These projects may entail case studies, audit simulations, and applied research activity in collaboration with locally based companies.
     
  • In addition, students may take advantage of dedicated partnerships with companies providing work-study openings. These partnerships can supply students with unique networking opportunities, the chance to hone specific skills, and gain professional experience.

Total class time for the year is 539hrs.

 

Skills obtained

Students of the Auditing & Management Control program learn to manage a company’s finances, keep accounting records, and interpret financial statements.

They also learn how to use financial tools such as financial ratios in order to assess the financial health of a company.

Students learn to conduct financial audits, assess risks, and set up audit reports.

They also acquire skills in the areas of compliance management and corporate governance.

Students learn to adopt data analysis tools designed to better understand financial trends and corporate performance.

They also learn to use financial and accounting management software to help them manage a company’s finances.

Students of the Auditing & Management Control specialization learn to communicate effectively with a company’s stakeholders, including investors, shareholders, clients, and employees.

They may also develop presentation and negotiation skills.

Students learn to identify financial problems, weigh up the various options, and recommend solutions.

They may also learn to forward-plan for potential problems and and suggest proactive solutions.

Admission to the Bachelor in Audit & Management Control program

The admissions procedure for acceptance onto the third year of the Bachelor’s program comprises analysis of an application dossier, an English test and a one-to-one interview.

  • ID photography
  • Copy of passport or identity card
  • A copy of high school diploma and any other diploma obtained since high school, with a translation in French if the original is not in English or French
  • A school certificate for the current academic year (2023/2024) if applicable
  • French test results obtained (TCF, DELF/DALF) if French is not the native language.
  • Supporting statement from a teacher, head of institution, or an employer (not mandatory but strongly recommended)
  • Resume and a cover letter
  • Reference letter from a professor or a former employer, or any relevant person including contact details of the referral
  • €100 for the application fees (€50 for state scholarship students upon presentation of the notified final decision)
     

English test results obtained (IELTS/TOEFL TOEIC) in last 2 years for applicants to have already taken a test.

If you are not in a position to provide this official grade, you will receive a link to an online test.

Minimum level required for applicants to programs in English:

IELTS 6 / TOEFL 80

The Master Program

Following the Bachelor’s program, the Master’s period of study lasts two years and can be accessed via the parallel admissions procedure. It is available with 15 specializations, 13 of which are carried out in work-study mode over two years.

How to finance your training ?

Tuition fees

 This training program costs €9, 500 per year and will be covered in their entirety by your host company since you will be registered on a work-study contract.

In addition, as an employee of the company you will receive a salary.

Assessment methodology

Successful completion of the five required blocks delivers the intended diploma in Audit & Management Control at Bachelor level and the associated level 6 RNCP certificate.

The skill validation frame of reference is based upon written and oral assessment methods, including the following:

 For successful completion of their Bachelor, students must validate the six following skillsets.

If students do not validate all the skillsets required for obtaining the professional certificate but successfully completes all skills related to one of the sets, each of the skillsets concerned will have been definitively validated.

This program cannot be combined with another training program.

However, partial certification with another program is possible (see the RNCP diploma file).
