A Partnership to Train the Consultants of Tomorrow

A partner of Paris School of Business for the past two years, CGI, a global leader in consulting and digital services, recruits students for end-of-studies internships and work-study programs. Through this collaboration, students can take on junior AMOA consultant roles and develop their skills in project management and business analysis. Jeremy SEMHOUN, Consulting Director at CGI, shares more about this partnership and the opportunities it offers to students.

Partnership with Paris School of Business

What motivated you to establish this partnership with Paris School of Business?

We aim to strengthen our ties with Paris School of Business because many of our consultants come from this school, and we have received positive feedback from both students and faculty. This partnership will help structure and reinforce an already established recruitment process.

What positions and responsibilities will the recruited students have?

Students will have the opportunity to join us as junior AMOA consultants. Their responsibilities will include business needs analysis, monitoring the development of technological solutions, and project management.

In your opinion, why are professional experiences during studies a stepping stone for students?

These experiences allow students to apply theoretical knowledge in real-world scenarios, develop both technical and soft skills, and build a professional network. They help students enter the job market with meaningful experience. Many of our work-study students transition into permanent contracts afterward.

What advice would you give to students to make the most of their professional experience and transition into the workforce?

We offer three key pieces of advice to students for a successful professional experience:

  • Adopt a proactive and curious attitude.
  • Don't hesitate to ask questions and seek feedback to improve.
  • Be open to new experiences and challenges.
