Paris School of Busines awarded international AACSB accreditation

Paris School of Business has been awarded international AACSB* accreditation for a period of 5 years.

PSB now joins a group of just 5% of Business Schools in the world to have received this recognition of excellence, and one of only 24 schools in France.  The school has already achieved international accreditation with AMBA** (2014) and with EPAS*** (2019) for its flagship 5-year Grande École management programme.

This achievement rewards several years of ongoing work carried out by the Paris School of Business community (faculty members, support staff, students, alumni, corporate and international partners, as well as Galileo Global Education). The AACSB accreditation procedure assesses the overall excellence of a school, the relevance of its mission and strategy, the qualification of the Faculty, the quality of courses and the support provided to students, in addition to the ability to innovate and continually improve its programmes.

Among the strengths highlighted by the AACSB review team, the experts mentioned in particular the powerful international dimension of the school, its engagement with business communities and its ability to develop innovative pedagogical initiatives. Finally, the reviewers congratulated the school’s governing body for their strategic vision and their ability to translate this into an ambitious action plan.

Achieving the AACSB accreditation represents further international recognition for Paris School of Business following the award of AMBA (2014) and EPAS (2019) accreditations.  This certificate of excellence will offer PSB extra visibility on the international higher education scene, enabling the school to attract more overseas students and faculty members, sign new international academic agreements with accredited foreign universities and also to strengthen the reputation of PSB abroad. The development of the school’s international dimension is one of the key objectives of the HORIZON 2020 strategic plan, resulting in the new powerful brand that Paris School of Business has become.

Paris School of Business is only the second institution whose Grande École Programme can now benefit from international AACSB accreditation among those schools belonging to the SESAME admissions test (along with EM Normandie), and only the 4th school in France whose 5-year Grande École programme delivers an approved Grade de Master qualification (along with IESEG and ESSCA).  “We are very proud of this achievement, and will continue our development initiatives”, announced Armand DERHY, Managing Director and Dean of Paris School of Business.
