Paris School of Business Professor of Entrepreneurship launches new business venture with the help of MBA students

Mr. Jerry Musnitsky has launched a new business, NextGen Cel.  It is a smartphone application for iPhone/iPad, Android, Nokia and BlackBerry that uses the phone’s internet connection to make low cost calls anywhere in the world, while avoiding roaming charges.  It is based on advanced VoIP technology and the company’s telecom license and relationships with major international telecoms such as Verizon and KPN.  They also established operations internationally including operating Divisions in the US and Turkey.

NextGen Cel was launched during the MBA Entrepreneurship course at Paris School of Business and students had the opportunity to be intimately involved in the creation and development of the business.  During the course, NextGen Cel grew to over 10,000 users from 85 countries and continues today with over 100 new clients per day.
This is a great example of “practice what you preach” and bringing real world experiences into the classroom, explains Mr. Musnitsky.  The students actively participated in the company’s business plan, fund raising strategy and corporate development.  It may have been exciting for the students but their input, fresh ideas and unique perspective has been an instrumental part of the company’s business plan.
